35 days! yeah. it’s been a long, cold month. meanwhile, i’ve been playing a game of circumstances. let me explain. the first big event since the last time was, at long last, the wrap-up of the 2009 dragonboat season. it took a damn long while, i’ll admit, but the planning and the unnecessary need to make our [...] turning 27 just might have made me a better person. if it wasn’t the sense of urgency that comes with age and the feeling we all share, at some point, that we have to “keep up” with everyone else we know in terms of how much we make and what car we drive, maybe it was [...] it’s no mystery that i tend to keep very busy weekends. i often stretch myself way too thin just trying to keep up with all the birthdays and dinners and everything that’s already on top of work and practice. things have come to a head recently because i had to travel to LA for a dragonboat race [...] |
